This summer I quickly drafted and sewed a fun little top that I had been dreaming about for some time. A cute top that was designed to wear with high waisted trousers and skirts - which is why it’s cropped.

I wanted a low back, slim straps and a soft V-neck (and no darts) that would cover me enough to be decent + presentable but a little sexy and didn’t feel like much when worn.

I wore this top quite a lot this summer and every time I wore it in the studio folks would ask to order it - but I only had the one prototype.

Finally - the Poppy Top is graded and ready for the world!
