The Juliana (pronounced who-lee-anna) is a slimmer fitting shirt compared to the Ersa which has a natural, gentle swoop at the back and a soft A-line. In comparison the Juliana is more straight down with a slightly more fitted neckline. A simple, classic shirt silhouette.
In this case there is the attached cowl neck which makes a sweet pullover top - tuck in a sweet little scarf for added dimension, fold over for another look or let be in its upright form and let it be where it wants to be.
When we were designing this top the working title was the ‘Adventure Top’ as we wanted a clean + basic design for all the adventures that lay ahead, a top with motion in mind.
Inspired by my friend Juliana Bedoya of Fibre Kin who spends much time out in nature harvesting and adventuring all the while looking smashing. This top is the end result of many a nerdy conversations about form, function and design.
