These are the tougher, more durable version of the Doris Trouser made with hemp/organic cotton canvas + having 2 front patch pockets made in Hemp/Organic Cotton Canvas.

After many requests by lovers of the Doris for a heartier, rough + ready kind of trouser with the same silhouette as the original we set out to make it happen. The hemp/organic cotton canvas is a bit more structural but still possesses a drape + ease of motion. The canvas will naturally get softer with time and become beautifully lived in - telling the tale of all your adventures together.

These Doris are only available with the 2 front patch pockets.

Named after my late grandmother who was a classy, yet pragmatic dame - who chose, despite the norm of her class, to wear trousers instead of a skirt when it came to her day to day life.

These wide leg trousers are comfy with an elastic (democratic) waist + falling just above the ankles.

The Doris has been designed with the intention to eliminate any extra bulk around the waist allowing for both layering possibilities and a sleek silhouette when worn as a classic trouser.

*please note this fabric can shrink/feel tighter than the linen version - about a 1/2 size smaller - it may be a consideration to size up if you are concerned. Review your measurements and contact us for any sizing assistance. The density of the fabric is much more architectural/rigid but does relax. It will not have the same drape as linen.
