spring picnic season

we had a recent photoshoot with Precious LaPlante that tells the human story of the joy
of sharing time and energy in nature with the simple pleasure of a picnic.

Spring calls us outside in an almost urgent kind of way - the sun shining, the birds chirping and life bursting from every conceivable view.
A kaleidoscope of colour, texture, smells and sounds.

There is a new warmth in the air but a chill that lingers in the morning + evening, when a gentle shadow descends or a breeze picks up.

Though we have the yearning for bare skin, the reality is that layers are still required. Personally, I find this time of the year ultra stylish with all the many layers one needs to contend with the rapidly changing shifts of weather which can happen within minutes.
