INTENTION vs OUTCOME

Hello dear ones,

Covid-19. The topic of 2020 is hot on the lips and swirling in our hearts and minds.
I just wanted to pop in via the journal to say a couple of things…

Thank you to all of you who support our little company. Support goes beyond the monetary, it is deep in appreciation and intention.
This year has made many of our lives unstable in ways that we have never experienced as a collective society, therefore we are all navigating the unsure footings together.
We are so grateful for all of you who have ordered, despite how sometimes the wait is longer than ideal. We feel sheepish about it, but there have been unprecedented elements that are way outside of our control - therefore we have been practicing the meditation of not getting too overwhelmed with it all.
And there is much to be overwhelmed with.

The pandemic has certainly altered the capacity to plan.

Orders are delayed, systems of protocol have added more time to process, personal lives have been greatly affected and our company motto has, and always will be, “Real People are making your clothes and sometimes Real Life can impede plans.”

It is so important to me that all on the team feel supported and respected, especially during this trying time.
Patience and understanding is Elemental on a good day, let alone a Pandemic!
In our team we have families: school age children, young adults, aging parents, dying family, dying friends and all the minor hiccups along the way.
There are many unseen stars to the collective constellation of our team who are also being affected by this trying time.

The team is utterly amazing, and I am grateful everyday with their commitment, quality, adaptability and open hearts.
Covid is not an easy element to add to the mix - but despite it all I am truly lucky to see how the collective mojo is about making it work despite all the challenges.
Team Moss Grey is full of feisty, determined, talented and fearless women.
Rad ladies make your clothes!

My heart exploded with happiness to know that we have been able to keep folks employed/busy and out of trouble during all of the instability.
It means so much to me to know that even in our own little way we are able to support families with your orders! Thank you!

Despite our tenacity and fire we have found ourselves behind schedule.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this strange time together.
And with energies ramping up towards the holiday (that may not even happen?) there is a palpable anxiety felt but like in times past, we will carry on!

Sewing your clothes brings us Joy.

The studio is full of fabric and now that the second wave has begun will be all that we have until the new year - which we have no idea will look like.
Day by day.

Thank you for taking the time to read this - it is a bit hasty (there are clothes to be made!) but it is sincere in gratitude.
I hope that I am able to be transparent enough that you feel included in our process.
It is so important during this wild and stressful time to just be honest + respectful.

Take care of yourselves, be kind and love fearlessly -

Destanne
