Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin.

If you are reading this much in the future you will remember this time with the conflict raging in Ukraine and how were are all at the edge of our seats.
And after 2 years of Covid we are at the end of our nerved.

But this entry is less emotional than that - this entry is a bit of a shift, rather a simple update on our linen supplies and process.

When this year opened up I had a deep belly feeling it was going to be different - and so far that has proven to be true. Many global dynamics have effected our supply chains and therefore effected how I creatively and financially process.

This year is full of changes - small, yet profound.
We have many collaborations, creative projects + much inspired work and designs coming your way.

I have been blessed to be working with several artists, farmers, designers and creative souls - Covid had left many of us yearning for connection - and this year is a bust of connectivity.

We will be working with 2 weavers, Suzu of Woven Wares (based in Victoria, BC) + Megan Samms of Live Textiles (based near Doyles, NFLD) who have/will be making us beautiful cloth to make select garments from. This is something that makes my heart explode with joy.

We will also be working with Juliana Bedoya of Plants Are Our Teachers who will be working in collaboration with Thanu from Wild Bee Collective to not only provide a workshop for Botanical Dyeing of which we will be providing garments but also working directly with Juliana to produce a small line of our own botanical dyed garments.

Not only are we collaborating with Juliana to Botanically Dye but she is also producing a small selection of handmade jewelry made from natural materials - check out our latest photoshoot to see her work.

As mentioned above - Supply Chains are quite interrupted which has caused a minor hiccup in our supplies.
This is not without some beautiful shifts too.

We will be phasing out several colours ~
Summer Weight Linen: hibiscus, sky + sage
Midweight Linen: hibiscus, sky + slate
*quite possibly more, as we get more info.
Crinkle Linen: ivory is no longer available
Silk Noil: salal is no longer available

These changes offer us more opportunities to bring in new colour and fabrics that inspire us!

Keep your ear to the ground as we review our stock, assess our options and follow our creative spirit.

We have many new designs and projects underway which we hope brings you as much joy for you as it does for us.

More updates soon…

Happy Spring!
